Why should I buy a HuskyPC Macintosh?
- In it's effort to provide the best possible support for the campus community, the University of Connecticut offers a standard purchase and support program for Macintosh computers known as the HuskyPC. In contrast to Windows-based HuskyPC's, UConn's Mac OS HuskyPC's can be ordered across any/all product lines, from iMacs to MacBooks. No matter which model you choose, you can be sure that your new Mac will arrive to you with installers for the latest University-licensed software and that trained support personnel are a mere phone call away.
- Note: If you do not want the UITS-based HuskyPC image set preinstalled on your new Mac, please note this exception on the purchase order that you submit.
